Glow From Within!




So, as if you are reading this, you may have browsed through my website or instagram and seen that i am writing a cookbook called "Glow From Within" so i thought i would share a little background story about the idea and why eating healthy is so important to me.


First of all, i am a foodie! I love food. The taste and the texture, it just makes me so happy! I love waking up to a warm bowl of oatmeal or coming home after a long day to homemade pumpkin soup and bread or having chocolate cake on a special day. Food is just pleasurable, warming and comforting and always makes me feel so happy. But, with everything, too much can become dangerous. That is why i have spent the last few years, trying to figure out how to eat healthy and still have pleasure in food. I have looked at what i like to eat and how i can make these foods into healthy recipes that will make me enjoy my food and thrive physically and mentally. Recipes that satisfy me, that won't make me feel sluggish, tired and unmotivated. Healthy eating is honestly so rewarding and what you consume is projected outwardly. It enhances so many aspects of your life: Your mental clarity, energy levels, your immune system, your skin, your body and overall happiness and confidence. It is amazing what it can do. I feel like eating healthy is how i personally must treat my body. Along with self-care and exercise, because we all deserve it.
